Dell's Looking Glass Tablet Is Launching in a Few Weeks

Dell doesn't want to leave any breathing time for Samsung with its 7" tablet, Galaxy Tab, and wants to bring its own 7" tablet, Looking Glass, to the market in just a few weeks from now. Dell also wants to bring to market a 10" tablet, that will more directly compete with Apple's iPad. It's also looking at bringing Windows 7 tablets to market, and considering Chrome OS as well.

But until then, we'll see first the 7" Looking Glass tablet, and here are its specs:

  • Nvidia's Tegra 2 processor
  • Android 2.1
  • 800×480 resolution 7-inch screen
  • Optional TV tuner
  • 4GB each of ROM and RAM
  • microSD card slot (up to 32GB card)
  • 1.3 MP front-facing camera
