Sprint’s next 4G smartphone, the Samsung Epic, doesn’t have a launch date as of yet, but that doesn’t stop the first 4G network from expanding. Sprint has now opened up 4G speeds in five new cities; Modesto, Calif., , Stockton, Calif.Jacksonville, Fla., Wilmington, Del., and Grand Rapids, Michigan.
This brings the total Metro areas with 4G to 48, and now covers over 50 Million people. “Later this year, Sprint will launch Boston, Miami, New York and Los Angeles, enabling millions more to harness this powerful new service.” Says Matt Carter, president of 4G, Sprint.
