Samsung Galaxy Europa to Get Music Anywhere from Carphone Warehouse

Carphone Warehouse jumps into the streaming media market with its release of the Music Anywhere application on blackberry, iPhone and most importantly, Android phones. Music Anywhere is a handy little app that scans your current media library on your home computer , your laptop and your mobile phone. Once it does this, you now have access to this music anywhere in the world.

When you are away from your computer, you can still listen to the music that you have on the devices listed above thanks to a six million song library supported by four major record labels including Universal Music and Warner Music. The app matches the songs on your devices to the songs in its library and lets you access it wherever you are. You have access to album art, song titles and artist info.

I can already tell what some of you are thinking. What if it is pirated music? Well, it will still let you listen to music that has been pirated. However, if Music Anywhere discovers that the majority of your music is pirated, they reserve the right to terminate the service. This service will run you a little under $50 a year and will stream over 3G and WiFi.

This app is bundled in with the Galaxy Europa phone which is being carried exclusively in the UK with a free subscription. This is a pretty low end phone and is very inexpensive. What do you guys think?
