LG Loop "Optimus" Android Smartphone Launches on Rogers

Rogers is not doing too bad of a job bring Android phones to Canada lately. Today they are launching LG Optimus GT540 AKA "Loop", which looks pretty good on the outside, but it's not on the same level on the inside, featuring the obsolete Android 1.6 version. I suppose you can't complain when it comes with a $29 price tag for a 3 year contract.

As for other specs, it includes:

  • 3-inch display with a resolution of 320—480
  • 3G
  • Wi-Fi
  • GPS
  • bluetoooth
  • 3-MP autofocus camera with video recording and no flash
  • 2 GB card (upgradable to 32 GB)
