With a video of course!  This is a video comparing three generations of screen on HTC devices.  It shows the older LCD tech of the HD2, HTC EVO, and others; the AMOLED tech of the Nexus One, and old Desire; as well as the new SLCD to be found on the new Desires, and others.  HTC was forced to adopt a new screen tech during the great AMOLED shortage of 2010.  They opted for the Sony-designed SLCD, which is now shipping in a number of new phones.  It looks like the SLCD is better in most ways, but don't just listen to me; watch for yourself!
