Android Augen Gentouch pulled from K-mart stock

The Augen Gentouch 78 was a hot ticket and even showed up into K-marts inventory without any information of the release. The tablet was released with an unlicensed Android market and would not install or download applications. This turned into a treat as members of the Android community hacked and ran Cyanogensmod 6 on the tablet, but it didn't prevent K-mart from pulling all their stock of Augens  Gentouch 78.

Consumers who ordered the tablet online received notice of order cancellation and with further investigation with K-mart customer support found the stock depleted and no plans on restocking. This has made whoever bought a tablet very lucky since the move seems to be a way for Augen to save face after using an unlicensed version of Android. Augen and Google has come to an agreement on the removal of the app on all future productions and no word on recalling the already purchased units. So those of you who have managed to get the device are the only one who will have an Android gentouch.
