Sprint Playbook Shows Epic 4G, No Release Date Yet

The Sprint Playbook has made its way to the public, and the main feature is the Epic 4G. By now everyone knows what this phone offers, but our hopes of finding a release date were smashed. There is not one listed. The Epic 4G is going to be another iPhone competitor as it comes with a front facing camera and a slide out keyboard. The screen is going to be the same as the Galaxy S and the Epic 4G will boast a 4" Super AMOLED display. The phone will ship with 2.1 but will be updated to 2.2 promptly. Rumor is it will be released by the end of summer.
