Chatr Wireless hits Canada

Rogers has introduced their new discount brand to Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa and Vancouver. You can get their service from Future Shop, Wireless Wave, TBooth, Zellers, Best Buy plus others. There will be stand alone kiosks in the malls of the cities with coverage.  They offer two different plans : $35 (Unlimited Talk) and $45 per month (Unlimited Talk & Text). The two ways to pay are auto-pay by credit card or top up as needed. If you auto-pay, you will receive a $10 per month discount for the first 3 months.

4 phones are available for the launch:

- The Nokia 1661 called "The essential" for $60
- The LG GB125R as "The flip" for $75
- The Samsung Gravity as "The QWERTY" for $130
- The Nokia 2680 as "The slider" for $95

Chatr says that there are 5 reasons that you should choose their service:
