App Name: Zenonia by Gamevil
Description: Regret, the main character, is a young man whose origins are initially unknown. His primary mission in the game is to find the reason for the death of his adoptive father at the hands of a demon and subsequently a more powerful evil that is at work.
How it works: Zenonia offers real time action combat with a main quest and various side quests to boost your experience points. The game offers a very responsive on screen display directional pad to move your character. There are three classes that you can choose from in the game: Paladin (a well rounded character in terms of weapon and magic), warrior and assassin. There are five classes for items: normal, unique, epic, rare and magic. Zenonia also offers different fields of battle (lava areas, dungeons, deserts, stone lands, hills). Alternate endings come into play depending on the decisions you make in the game. When you play the game the weather will change due to the weather system that is built in the RPG. The game also has a day/night system and boast over forty hours of gameplay.
Opinion: It’s been a while since I picked up an Role Playing Game and when I loaded this game up I was immediately captivated by the soundtrack and graphics. I didn’t expect to be impressed at all since this was just another game on my android phone and boy was I wrong! Everything about the game is outstanding from the on screen display to even item selections. The story has a bit of humor and is very entertaining. The world and the interactions with the people are very well done. This is what you expect from a great RPG and Zenonia does not disappoint. If you really appreciated games like Final Fantasy and Legend of Zelda then Zenonia will be in your game library as well. Enjoy!
