New details have been announced on Samsung's new tablet, now said to have a new name, Galaxy Tape. The Vietnamese site, Tinh te says that Samsung's 7-inch tablet will be running Froyo (Android 2.2). Along with it running Froyo, it is said that the tablet will run Android on an A8 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. If this is true then, this Tablet will be the fastest running Android device currently announced. Now both of these details are huge sellers as far as I am concerned but there is more! The tablet will be powered by a 4,000mAH battery, to put this into perspective one of the current Flagship android devices, the nexus one's battery is 1400mAH. Along with battery the tablet will have 16GB on-board storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB by a microSD slot. It is also claimed that the tablet will use Samsung's Super AMOLED screen type, which is claimed by Samsung to be the best screen on the market. These details all sound awesome, and I myself plan to pick one up. The only downside that some user may have is that the device uses Samsung's TouchWiz UI.
