Galaxy S for T-Mobile? Well Sorta,Sorta Not

The answer is, well, technically yes, but it is going by the name Vibrant. The Samsung Vibrant is the phone that T-Mobile subscribers have been hanging on to their upgrades for. This handset features an 4" super AMOLED display with 800 X 480 pixels. It boasts a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor and comes with 16 GB of memory right out of the box and has a microSD slot where it can take up to a 32 GB microSD card. The Vibrant also features a 5 megapixel camera and video recorder with 720p HD resolution. There is also rumors that the phone will come loaded with a few popular software ttles such as The Sims 3, Amazon Kindle and Avatar. The phone will be launched with Google Android 2.1 and is slated for a late July introduction.

T-Mobile has been giving clues to this news. They even came out with a website: www.t-mobileclue.com and have tweeted clues as well. On the site is the following clue. Those who were directed to the site figured it out right away. See how you do at deciphering this clue.

There is a countdown timer leading up to the reveal which is June 28. That date seems to coincide with an event Samsung is having in New York on June 29. More clues could be coming, but for T-Mobile users the outlook is Vibrant!
