Desire 610 AH-9

HTC Desire 610 Information:

The HTC Desire 610 is one of the mid-range models, and from the front you can tell it is an HTC, but around the back it has a shiny, plastic look.  It features a 4.7-inch qHD display, which means a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels with 234 pixels-per-inch (PPI).  The processor is a respectable Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core clocked at 1.2GHz, packed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.  A 2040mAh battery supplies the power.

The main camera is an 8MP with auto focus and LED Flash with a 1.3MP front-facing camera (FFC) for the occasional selfie.  The Desires 610 also has HTC’s great dual stereo, front facing BoomSound speakers.  It has all the usual – Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, FM Radio and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer.

It measures 143.1 x 70.5 x 9.6mm, weighs in at 143.5 grams, and can be found on the AT&T network for $199.99 without a contract or $0 on a two-year contract.

HTC Desire 610 Editor Rating:

Okay, this is a budget device that has a nice looking front and an ugly, shiny, fingerprint magnet, plastic back.  It has the HTC dual front facing BoomSound speakers for great sound – certainly better than speakers found in most high-end devices, let alone a cheaper device.  The display is okay for this price range, but a 720p would be much better.  In the right conditions, you can get decent pictures, but nothing special.
