Huawei is getting ready to launch their first high-end smartphone this year, the Huawei P9. This smartphone will be introduced on April 6th, and we’ll probably see the Huawei P9 Lite and P9 Max announced alongside the P9. As we’re waiting for Huawei’s launch event in London, which we’ll attend by the way, the company has further expanded its business, this time around we’ll talk more about India, read on.
Huawei’s Honor subsidiary has launched an e-commerce website in India. This Asian country is the second largest smartphone market in the world, and a ton of companies are already selling their devices over there, including Huawei. This China-based company has been selling their products through various retailer partners thus far, and will continue doing so, but in addition to that, they now have their own official webshop of sorts for the Indian smartphone market. Huawei will, of course, offer various website-specific deals for consumers, and if you head over to the source link down below, you’ll get to see what Huawei has to offer at the moment. Honor is usually referred to as a separate entity to Huawei, even though it’s still very much a part of Huawei. Honor’s 5X handset was one of the most popular Huawei-branded devices out there last year, and the company managed to sell quite a few Honor-branded low and mid-range units last year (in general), which certainly helped Huawei hit that magic 108 million-mark (Huawei 2015 sales number).
Honor’s e-commerce site in India offers a couple of devices, including Honor 7, Honor Bee and even Nexus 6P. More devices are going to be offered through this site soon, and you’ll also find various accessories available if you visit the source link down below. The launch of this site is yet another huge step for Huawei, especially considering India is one of the company’s largest markets. That is pretty much it, we’ll let you know if Honor decided to release some additional info regarding their e-commerce site. In the meantime, stay tuned for the Huawei P9 launch event which we’ll be attending the day after tomorrow (April 6th).
