Google Discounts Pixel C Tablet In Australia, New Zealand, Canada And The UK

Google has introduced a couple of Nexus devices back in September last year, and the Pixel C tablet one of those devices. We’re still not sure if the Pixel C is selling as well as Google has hoped, but the company has decided to discount this tablet (and offer it to developers) recently when they released the Android N Developer Preview. The discount was regional though, but the company has decided to extend that discount to developers in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK. Keep in mind you’ll need to register in order to get a code, that’s the only way you’ll be able to take advantage of this discount. Read more about it here.

InFocus Unveils Bingo 50 With 3GB Of RAM, Android 6.0 Marshmallow

The Bingo 50 is InFocus’ newest handset for the Indian smartphone market. This is a 5-inch handset which ships with a 720p display, 3GB of RAM, and is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor. The 8-megapixel snapper is placed on both its front, and back side, while you’ll find a 2,500mAh battery on the inside. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed here, and InFocus’ InLife UI is available on top of Google’s OS. The device costs Rs. 7,499 ($113).

Five Ride Hailing Services Coming To Google Maps In India

If you own an Android or iOS powered handset, chances are you’re using Google Maps. Well, Google has decided to add five ride hailing services to Google Maps, Ola Cabs (India), 99Taxis (Brazil), Hailo (UK & Spain, mytaxi (Germany & Spain, and Gett (UK). You’ll see the ride sharing option / icon next to the current car, transit, walking, and biking options, as picture in an image above. The feature has started rolling out to Android users, and will soon come to iOS as well.

Lava Launches V2s Smartphone In India For Rs. 7,899 ($119)

Lava is a well-known India-based company, and they’ve recently introduced the V2s handset. This phone sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage. The 8-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of this phone, and a 2,500mAh battery is also a part of the package. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this device, and the phone costs Rs. 7,899 ($119) in India.

Oppo Launches Rose Gold Edition Of The Oppo F1 In India

The Oppo F1 launched earlier this year, and the company opted to release a new color option for this phone in India, the Rose Gold edition, as the call it. The specs remain unchanged, this phone sports a 5-inch 720p display, 3GB of RAM, and is fueled by the Snapdragon 616 64-bit octa-core SoC. The 13-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of the phone, and a 2,500mAh battery is also a part of this package.
