Android is the number one mobile operating system in the world, and has been for quite some time now. Android holds a huge chunk of the market share, which basically means most people turn to Google Play Store for their app needs. Luckily for Android users, Google’s Play Store is full of interesting titles, and new apps just keep on coming. The gaming situation has also improved significantly over the last couple of years, as the hardware on mobile devices has become quite powerful.

That being said, we’re here to talk about one gaming title which is quite interesting if you’re in strategy games. This game is called ‘Spartania: Casual Strategy’, and it basically makes you a Spartan general. Now, the graphics here is quite unique and interesting, it’s cartoonish but looks nice, though it won’t appeal to everyone, of course. The game itself gives you plenty of options, you’ll be required to build and upgrade your spartan city and defend it against enemies. You’ll also attack your enemies, and need to upgrade your army while at it. Interesting enough, you can watch replays of every battle, and there are tons of characters you can develop in the games, from Soldiers and Archers, all the way to Sorcerers and Elephants. You’ll need to battle other players to take their food, gold and trophies, while you’ll also have access to other players’ statistics through Google Achievements and Ranking. Spartan-themed sounds are present throughout the game, which really adds to the whole atmosphere, and the characters are quite funny sometimes.

The Spartania is only 19MB bit, and there are tons of people playing this title at the moment. IT holds a 4.5 rating in the Google Play Store after over 28,000 people voted, which is a testament to this game. Spartania is free to download and play, but do keep in mind that in-app purchases are present here.
