Verizon Scores Rights To Stream NBA League Pass Via Go90

Verizon’s go90 streaming service and application is picking up steam in the short time that it’s been available to smartphone users. The app provides a way for consumers to stream and view tons of different video content without having to pay a monthly fee, and for Verizon customers viewing content through go90 won’t count against their data, making it much easier to watch more of the content that they love without worrying about how much data use they have left in the month. Although a decent amount of content was already available with go90, Verizon has scored the capability to allow NBA fans to stream live games from the remainder of the 2015-2016 season through the go90 app.

The ability to stream live NBA games is a huge benefit in itself, but it’s made even more of a perk thanks to the recent change as of February 5th that enabled streaming without data use for Verizon Wireless postpaid customers. For go90 users which are looking to take advantage of the NBA games, beginning today, go90 users who are registered can head to the dedicated landing page at go90.com/NBA and pay $50 for a half-season package, which includes the ability to stream all remaining regular season games excluding any blackout games, which are those that are televised locally or nationally.

If you’re unsure on the value of picking up the half season package through go90, Verizon is giving registered users the ability to pick up to five NBA League Pass games from the remaining regular 2015-2016 season to watch without having to buy the $50 package. Additionally, Verizon is also holding preview weekends to watch games for free as well, and these won’t count against the five free games making it possible to get more games to watch at no cost. While the preview weekends started with Feb. 6th and Feb. 7th, there will be two more preview weekends to take advantage of which includes Feb. 20th and Feb. 21st, and one more on March 5th and March 6th. It’s also worth noting that any NBA League Pass subscriptions which have been picked up through Verizon’s go90 service can only be viewed through the go90 application.
