NVIDIA SHIELD Review AH-106

Selection Of NVIDIA SHIELD Games On Sale For Valentine’s Day

February 11, 2016 - Written By John Anon

The NVIDIA SHIELD is arguably the best Android TV device currently available to buy. While the selection on offer is admittedly limited to a handful of devices, there does not even seem to be anything in the works right now which is likely to be able to match the SHIELD on performance. In particular, for those who like to game, the SHIELD is a powerhouse offering direct access to Android TV compatible games, as well as streaming access to PC games and also access to a number of AAA titles via their paid subscription service, GeForce NOW.

Well, every so often NVIDIA seems to be dropping the price on a number of games that are compatible with the SHIELD. The most recent of which happened a couple of weeks ago with NVIDIA launching their SHIELD Winter Game Sale. For those who were not so keen on the titles on offer, it now looks as though NVIDIA has begun a new sale on select Android and GeForce NOW game titles.

The latest sale is designed for Valentine’s Day and as a result is live now and will run through until the big day, February 14th. On offer are six titles in total with four of these being dedicated Android games and the remaining two GeForce NOW offerings. In terms of Android, the games on offer are Juju which has been reduced by 50%. Next up is Dustoff Heli Rescue which has also now been reduced by 50%. What will be one of the most popular titles on offer in the sale is This War of Mine, which is seeing two thirds of its price temporarily slashed, while closing out the Android specific list is Windward which has also now seen a price cut of two thirds. Moving on to the GeForce NOW options and on sale is The Park which has been decreased in price by a third and also Submerged which has seen 25-percent taken off its price for the sale. As a reminder, all prices are reduced until Valentine’s Day and you can find out more about the titles on offer, as well as direct download links by heading through the source link below.
