Refurbished & Unboxed OnePlus X Units On Sale In India Soon

February 12, 2016 - Written By Kristijan Lucic

OnePlus X is one of the two devices OnePlus announced last year. The company has also introduced the OnePlus 2, their flagship for 2015. The OnePlus X is actually meant to be OnePlus’ affordable mid-ranger, but its specs are really good, and it definitely doesn’t look like a mid-range device. The OnePlus X has been available for purchase in various markets for a while now, including India. This smartphone was actually available only if you had an invite ever since it was announced, but OnePlus decided to change that and offer it invite-free quite recently.

That being said, the OnePlus X costs Rs. 16,999 ($250) in India (Onyx variant), and those of you who find that to be pricey are in luck. This smartphone will be available for Rs. 12,999 ($191) in India through Overcart, but keep in mind that these are either refurbished and unboxed units of the device. OnePlus is, however, offering a 6-month warranty with the handset, for those of you who are interested. This handset has recently received the OxygenOS 2.2.0 update which further improved its performance, and fixed some issues for users in India (USSD issues). Now, how does this work? Well, if you’re interested in getting one of these units, you’ll need to go and register on Overcart, after which you can register for a flash sale which will go through on January 15th at 2 PM (local time).

As a reminder, the OnePlus X features a 5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). This phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, along with an Adreno 330 GPU. The 13-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of this phone, and an 8-megapixel snapper can be found up front. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here, and OnePlus’ OxygenOS is available on top of it. The 2,525mAh battery is located on the inside, and there are two SIM card slots available here (one of which can be used as a microSD card slot). That is more or less it, if you’re interested in the upcoming flash sale, follow the source link down below.
