MWC 2016 Day 1 Roundup: Samsung, LG, & More

While Mobile World Congress doesn’t officially begin until tomorrow, February 22nd, today was full of press conferences from some of the biggest names in the industry, including the likes of LG, Samsung, Huawei and others. In fact, last night Alcatel kicked things off by announcing their new Idol 4 and Idol 4S, beating out Samsung and LG. Make no doubt about it though, the biggest news of the day (and probably of the week) came through today when LG announced the arrival of their LG G5 and Samsung unveiled their latest smartphones, the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge. All high-profile and major flagship devices, which come boasting the best and biggest specs on the market, as well as a few surprises too.
