LG G5 Teaser Page Is Now Live

February 20, 2016 - Written By Kristijan Lucic

The LG G5 is almost here. LG’s upcoming smartphone will be announced tomorrow, after tons of rumors and leaks that have surfaced in the last couple of weeks. The company’s flagship has surfaced a couple of times yesterday alone, and judging by that info, LG G5 will be significantly different than its predecessors. We’ll talk about that in a second, but let’s first take a look at the newest info that just surfaced, shall we.

This Korean tech giant has actually fired up the LG G5 teaser page on their official site in the US. If you follow the source link down below, you’ll notice that that the site is live, and it actually let you sign up to receive more details once the phone gets announced. This teaser page is not all that revealing though, it’s only teasing the arrival of the device, as its name says. In any case, LG G5 will be a rather interesting smartphone, if rumors are to be believed. According to the recent info, this smartphone will be made out of metal, but its battery will be removable, not the way some of you might think though. You won’t be able to pull out the phone’s back cover, considering it’s not removable, but instead, you’ll be able to remove its ‘chin’. Several rumors claimed that the bottom of the phone will be removable, and yesterday’s leak kind of confirmed that. The phone’s battery will be replaceable, and we’re waiting for more information from LG on this matter.

The LG G5 is said to sport a 5.3-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, along with 3GB or 4GB of RAM, while several internal storage variants will be available. You will, allegedly, going to be able to expand upon G5’s internal storage through a microSD card slots. This handset will be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor, along with an Adreno 530 GPU. The dual camera setup will be available on the phone’s back, and at least one of the two sensors will be a 16-megapixel snapper. The 8-megapixel shooter will be available up front, and a 2,800mAh battery will be included here as well. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the LG G5, along with the company’s custom UI.
