ZTE is one of many companies attending CES this year. This China-based company has plenty of announcements to share with us thus far, they’ve announced the Grand X3 and Avid Plus devices, and have also announced some new projects along the way. ZTE is also showcasing a number of their existing Axon devices, including the Axon Pro, Axon Max and Axon Mini. We’ve reviewed two out of three of these devices, the Axon Max has been announced two weeks ago, and is basically a completely new handset.

Now, ZTE has just announced that they’ve received a couple of awards from IDG, the International Data Group. In case you’re not familiar with this company, they’re one of the world’s leading tech, media, event and research companies. ZTE has received the following awards: Global Smart Connected Devices Top 10, Global Smart Phones Top 10, Global Top 50 CE Brands, and Top 10 Brands from China. IDG has actually presented these awards to ZTE at the Global Top Brands Awards Ceremony during CES 2016 in Las Vegas.”It is an honor to once again make IDG’s list of top performers. It is a welcomed confirmation of our user-centric approach to developing new products and unflagging dedication to pioneering new innovations to power our transformation to a consumer-recognized brand. Our flagship products like the AXON series and their new technologies like pressure-sensitive touchscreens are enabling more intuitive user experiences, and we’re thrilled our efforts are being recognized,” said Adam Zeng, CEO of ZTE Mobile Devices.

It is also worth mentioning that ZTE has launched their official nubia.com international website, through which their subsidiary, Nubia, will soon sell their devices internationally. ZTE’s Axon line of devices is well-known in certain regions, but the company’s Nubia line has been aimed at China, at least until now. The company’s Nubia Z9, Z9 Max and Z9 Mini sure are interesting handsets, especially the bezel-less Nubia Z9. The company’s Nubia Z11 handset is expected to launch int he coming months, and that smartphone will quite probably going to be available through the nubia.com website. Either way, stay tuned, 2016 will surely be an exciting year in tech, and ZTE has big plans for the future.
