Letv has managed to intrigue tech aficionados back in April when they announced their three first handsets, also called ‘Le Superphones’. The Letv Le 1, Le 1 Pro and Le Max sport really sleek design and a solid spec sheet, which made them really interesting earlier this year. Letv has also released the Le 1s in the meantime, and has managed to sell quite a few of these devices in China. Well, this Chinese smartphone manufacturer will soon start selling their devices in the U.S., they’ll make the official announcement during CES next month.

We’ve seen quite a few leaks regarding Letv’s upcoming devices. The company is actually expected to announce a Snapdragon 820-powered smartphone at the beginning of 2016. According to the latest benchmark leaks, that handset will be called the Le Max Pro, and has recently surfaced on both AnTuTu and GFXBench benchmarking sites. According to that info, the Letv Le Max Pro will feature a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 820 SoC, as already mentioned, and will ship with 21 and 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera sensors on its back and front side, respectively. Android 6.0 Marshmallow has also been mentioned, and on top of it you’ll find Letv’s custom UI which contains a number of additions by the company.

That being said, a new Letv Le Max Pro-related leak has surfaced quite recently. According to this new info, this handset might sport the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner on the back, and a retina scanner up front. Now, this leak really isn’t all that specific, but there you go. Now, it remains to be seen whether Letv intends to announce this handset during their press conference on January 5th at CES, or will they announce it later on. It is possible that Letv intends to showcase one of their already released devices during CES, it remains to be seen. Either way, we’ll be at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, as usual, so we’ll keep you posted on what’s going on, stay tuned for that.
