SwiftKey Announces 50% off Select Theme Packs for Black Friday

November 25, 2015 - Written By Alexander Maxham

In June of 2014, SwiftKey made a bold move. They went from a paid application on the Google Play Store, to being a free app with in app purchases. Going from charging about $2-3 per person to install the app (which that was the end of the revenue they got from that user), to now being able to continue to get revenue from their current user base. SwiftKey is one of the most popular, if not the most popular third-party keyboard apps on the Play Store right now. And the keyboard has only gotten better over time.

SwiftKey is announcing today, that they are doing 50% off about 12 theme packs for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This sale starts today and lasts through Cyber Monday which is November 30th, 2015. Now the themes in this sale aren’t just normal theme packs. SwiftKey has three mega themepacks. One of which is a Material megapack which has 35 themes, all of which are material design as you’d expect from the name and it’ll cost $5.99. There’s also the “Old School Megapack” which has 31 of SwiftKey’s best-selling themes since the store launched in 2014, this is going for $4.99. Additionally, we have the Minimal megapack which is the theme pack introduced with SwiftKey 6 not too long ago. It’s remaining at $5.99, with the normal price being $9.99 and taking effect after this sale is over. And finally, there is the “Everything Megapack”. This one is a bit crazy. This includes every theme available, all 75. For $14.99, the normal price would be around $29.99. There’s plenty of themes there to choose from.

Other theme packs included are the Top Ten pack, which features their top ten all-time best-selling themes, the Rainbow Pack, Accent pack, Cool Punch pack, Gift Wrap pack, Pink pack, minimal pack, Hot Punch pack, and Winter Vibe pack. So with all these theme packs on sale this weekend, you should find a great way to customize your keyboard, especially if you’re using SwiftKey. Remember, SwiftKey is now free to download, with the only paid features being themes in the theme store, which the company has been working hard to bring more and more themes to the store since launching it in 2014.
