From within the app, you can tap the heart on certain wallpapers and build your own collection of favorite wallpapers inside the app. Additionally, there are a few in-app purchases including Pro packs that can bring you some other premium wallpapers for you to use on your device. There is also an in-app purchase to get rid of the ads in the app. There is also a great looking interface on the Backdrops app, it’s almost material design, but not quite. Once you tap on a wallpaper, you can choose to either save the wallpaper of set it as your new home screen and/or your lock screen (seeing as some devices do them set them separately). On the page with the wallpaper, you will also see other information on the wallpaper, including the size, resolution, copyright and the artist that made the wallpaper.
There is also a social tab included in the Backdrops app which allows you to upload your very own wallpapers, so you can share your own pieces of work and/or photography. The team behind Backdrops will also be there alongside you to share high quality photos that are available for everyone and everyone to download on their smartphone. And if you want your own wallpaper to be featured as the “Wall of the Day” you can contact the Backdrops team and have that happen. It’s really quite easy.
You can pick up Backdrops from the Google Play Store today, it’s free with the in-app purchases mentioned above. It is compatible with just about every Android device (there may be a few exceptions here).
