The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 is Samsung’s more budget-range tablet. It’s a 7-inch tablet with pretty mid-range specs. We’re looking at a 7-inch 1280×800 resolution display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of storage along with a microSD card slot. So it’s not the high-end tablet that we all would want, but for $119, it’s a tablet that can get things done. It’s enough power to play games, browse through your email, and so forth. It’s a great tablet to give to the kids as well, because it’s a cheap, and small tablet. So if it gets broken, it’s not a big deal, really. The Galaxy Tab 4 also comes in a 8-inch and a 10.1-inch version, for a bit more cash. The Galaxy Tab 4 7-inch does come with Android 4.4.4 KitKat, so it’s not running the latest and greatest version of Android. But at this price, it’d be hard to expect that.
Additionally, right now, Amazon is offering all of Samsung’s tablets on sale right now. Some are discounted a bit more than others. But if you are looking for a higher-end tablet, the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 is a great one, coming in at $349, or the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 at $229. Both great choices to pick up.
