At IFA this week, Acer took the wraps off of a number of products, including another entry into their gaming line. This is the Predator 8 Gaming Tablet. If you’re a gamer, then this is a tablet you’ll definitely want to take a look at. It’s aimed to compete with others like the NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet. Acer has four angled speakers on the front, giving you a great sound experience while you’re gaming. The display looks quite good, it’s a 8-inch FHD display though, not a Quad HD display as you’d expect. However, that likely works better for the processor with all the heavy gaming that will be going on. Speaking of the processor, Intel and Acer worked together to include the Intel Atom X7 processor inside, and in our limited hands on time, it appeared to work quite well for us.
While the Predator 8 Gaming Tablet is not the best looking tablet on the market, it does serve a purpose and serve its purpose well. We got some hands on time with the Predator 8 at IFA at Acer’s booth this week, which you can check out that short video down below. It’ll be going for about €249 in Europe, which isn’t a bad price at all for a tablet.
