V-MODA is known for making some excellent quality headphones, offering up rich, high-fidelity sound in a plethora of stylish combinations. V-MODA’s latest however, takes things to the next level and goes completely wireless with the recently announced Crossfade Wireless headset. These are over-ear headphones and not on-ear, so they fit over the ears and should provide users with a completely unencumbered audio experience. Among the list of features the new Crossfade Wireless offers up a fairly large list of style and color options so consumers have a unique model that fits their personality as well as an exceptional pair of headphones for listening to their favorite music, watching their favorite movies, or playing their favorite games.

While these are wireless and support a Bluetooth connection of up to 33 feet away from the connected device, (they also support pairing to two devices at once) the V-MODA Crossfade Wireless also supports a wired mode, so users can plug in with the auxiliary cable and listen to anything without expending battery power from the headphones. Additionally this can be a great option for those who have already used up the battery in the Crossfade Wireless but still want to continue listening, making this a pretty versatile headset that can always be used regardless of it being charged up or not.

While the new Crossfade Wireless will likely be praised by consumers for their audio quality, the same will likely be true for the build quality and the materials used. The headphones are built using a combination of steel and metal materials along with Vegan leather to create a premium look and feel whether you’re wearing them or not. The earcups are made of memory foam which V-MODA states not only helps with the comfort but also helps to isolate noise so you can listen to whatever it is you’re listening to free of distractions, while others can’t hear the sound bleeding out. The headphones charge via the included microUSB cable and should last up to 12 hours of use before needing a recharge. The Crossfade Wireless are currently available in V-MODA’s Phantom Chrome or White Silver colors for $299.99, but there are options for upgrading the headset with other 3D printed materials, and can currently be picked up from V-MODA’s official website.
