OnePlus has unveiled the company’s second smartphone back in July this year. The OnePlus 2 has been available for purchase for quite some time now, but there’s a catch. As it was the case with the OnePlus One, you’ll need an invite in order to be able to purchase this device. Now, consumers don’t really prefer the invite system policy OnePlus is enforcing, but those who really want the device don’t have an option at the moment. That being said, OnePlus have launched this smartphone in India last month, and the company has decided to giveaway thousands of invitations in that Asian country soon, read on.

If you live in India and have been wanting to purchase the OnePlus 2, you’re in luck. OnePlus is holding an event called #InviteCarnival in India where the company will give away 3,000 OnePlus 2 invitations. What do you need to do in order to get one? Well, you’ll need to answer puzzles, quizzes and trivia questions. You can enter only once per contest, and receive only one invite. You can enter as many contests as you want, and the whole contest is working on the ‘first come first served’ system. The contest is kicking off in a couple of minutes, and if you’re interested, visit the source link down below for more information.

The OnePlus 2 sports a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) LTPS LCD display along with 4GB of RAM (3GB variant will arrive later on) and 64GB of internal storage. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor along with an Adreno 430 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel camera is located on the back of this smartphone, and a 5-megapixel shooter can be found up front. The non-removable 3,300mAh battery is available on the inside of this smartphone, and you also get dual-SIM and 4G LTE connectivity here. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on the OnePlus 2, and the company’s Oxygen OS is available on top of Google’s operating system. OnePlus 2 sports a metallic trim this time around, and a fingerprint scanner is located below the display in form of a touchpad (of sorts). The OnePlus 2 measures 151.8 x 74.9 x 9.9mm, while it weighs 175 grams.
