Lately, HTC has been in the news for a variety of reasons. Although, most recently, the headlines have been circulating around a device the company is expected to launch soon enough. The HTC One A9 has been greatly speculated upon lately and especially with regards to its looks and its specs. In terms of the looks, this seems to be coming through quite clearly with a number of leaked images consistently showing the same type of device. In fact, only yesterday came the latest report on this and showcased the variety of colors the One A9 is now expected to come in.

That said, the specs are finding themselves far more debatable. So much so that it seems rumors cannot even consistently confirm whether this is a mid-range device or a high end device. Well on that point, another leaked image has surfaced today which looks to further confirm the look of the One A9 and also provides further confirmation of one set of the rumored specs.

The image in question is said to be of the One A9 and the device itself, is highlighting the specs on offer. In terms of those specs, the images revealed that the Open A9 will come sporting a 5-inch AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. Inside, it will come equipped with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. As such, if this one is correct, this again does seem to be edging the towards the opinion that the One A9 will be more of a mid-range offering them a flagship device that will help the company recover from the disappointment of the One M8.

HTC is holding an event on the 29th of this month and they are expected to be unveiling two new smartphones. However, the most recent reports that have come through have suggested that the One A9 will not be one of those devices unveiled. Instead, it is now being thought that the One A9 will see a dedicated launch event in the U.S. next month. One which will come with a high media campaign in the build-up.
