We’ve participated the launch event in China, and have a lot of content on the site if you’re interested, including the hands-on coverage.

That being said, the Meizu MX5 wallpapers have surfaced in China. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll find 13 Meizu MX5 wallpapers which you can download if you want, and if you’d like to grab them all at once, visit the source link down below. All of these wallpapers are 1080p (1920 x 1080) in resolution considering the phone itself features a fullHD display. There are various wallpapers available down below, but they’re mostly quite colorful and pleasing to the eye.

The Meizu MX5 features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED display along with 3GB of RAM and 16, 32 or 64GB of internal storage, depending on which unit you purchase of course. This handset is powered by MediaTek’s Helio X10 (MT6795) 64-bit octa-core SoC, and a 3,150mAh battery is also a part of the package. The phone is made out of metal, and it sports a physical home button below the display which doubles as a fingerprint scanner. The quick charge capability is also included here, and the device will ship with Android Lollipop pre-installed with Meizu’s Flyme 4.5 UI on top of it. The 20.7-megapixel camera is available on the back of this handset along with a dual-LED, dual tone flash and a Laser Autofocus. This is also a dual-SIM handset which offers 4G LTE connectivity.

The Meizu MX5 comes in Gray, Gold and Silver color options, and as already mentioned, three internal storage variants are available. The 16GB model is priced at 1,799 Yuan ($290), the 32GB variant costs 1,999 Yuan ($322), and the most expensive 64GB handset will set you back 2,399 Yuan ($403) in China. The MX5 will quite probably be available for purchase via various resellers internationally, so stay tuned for that
