Elephone has been manufacturing low and mid-range devices only for quite some time. This Hong-Kong based smartphone OEM has always been able to provide a solid build quality, they’ve actually manufactured a number of metal mid-range smartphones. Elephone has decided to dabble in the higher-end category of devices lately, the company has released the P7000 and P8000 smartphones, both of which are made out of metal and ship with really decent specs, including 1080p displays and 3GB of RAM. That being said, Elephone has just revealed yet another smartphone, an upgraded variant of the P6000 handset, read on.

The Elephone P6000 is a solid mid-range offering by this smartphone OEM. This handset sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display along with 2GB of RAM, and it is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6732 SoC. The 13 and 2-megapixel cameras are also available here, on the back and front of this device, respectively. The P6000 was announced back in December 2014, and the company has announced a new variant of that handset, the P6000 Pro which is actually available for pre-order already. The P6000 Pro shares most of the specs with the P6000, including the display size and resolution, rear-facing camera, etc. The new device, however, sports a more powerful MT6753 64-bi octa-core processor, and is also available in 3GB variant as well. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this device, and you can also take a look at Elephone’s P6000 Pro promo video down below.

The Elephone P6000 Pro isn’t exactly the company’s flagship, but it is a really solid smartphone which doesn’t really cost all that much. The 2GB variant of this smartphone will set you back $119.99, while the 3GB model costs $139.99. For those of you who dislike big phones and are looking for something way more compact, the P6000 Pro might be something you should consider. This device will sport a solid SoC, and a 3GB of RAM, while keeping the display at only 5-inches, which is still perfect for some people. As already mentioned, this handset is not available for pre-order from GearBest, simply follow the source link above if you’d like to get a copy.
