Samsung Teases Iron Man Edition Galaxy S6 on Twitter

May 15, 2015 - Written By Alexander Maxham

We had seen some pictures of the Galaxy S6 in Avengers edition, which were fan made. But it looks like Samsung is indeed making an Iron Man Edition Galaxy S6. Even though Robert Downey Jr. works for HTC. This morning, Samsung Tomorrow teased it on Twitter stating “Coming Soon (*Detailed availability in markets may differ by region)” along with the picture above. Most likely we won’t see it here in the US, and if we do it’ll be of the unlocked variety. Likely to be pretty expensive, which the Galaxy S6 unlocked is already quite pricey. But there’s no doubt that any Avengers or Iron Man fan is going to want this one.

We’ve seen Samsung do special editions like this before, and with the Galaxy S6 already looking amazing, it’s going to be even more amazing to see what this Iron Man Edition looks like when it’s finally unveiled. Which hopefully is soon. We don’t have any clue as to which markets it’ll be available in, or when, as well as the price. But as soon as we know those details we’ll be sure to pass them along, as always.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 was announced back in March in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress, alongside the Galaxy S6 Edge. It was then made available on April 10th worldwide and Samsung has been selling boatloads of these devices. As well as gearing up the marketing machine, as only Samsung can. Samsung is expecting to hit records with the number of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge units sold, and I don’t think they’ll have a hard time doing so. With it’s glass back and aluminum frame. Not to mention the 5.1-inch 2560×1440 resolution AMOLED display, Exynos 7420 processor inside, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and it’s 16MP camera, which is just stunning. Samsung also has a 2550mAh battery in the Galaxy S6 and a 2600mAh battery in the Galaxy S6 Edge. To keep you going all day long.

One thing’s for sure, that Iron Man Edition Galaxy S6 is going to look sweet. We’re sure many of you will be drooling over it, when it’s finally unveiled.
