Samsung seems to have got a hit with its flagship smartphones this year, in particular the Galaxy S6 Edge with its curved screen on both sides, which not only gets a very distinctive look because of this feature, the design has also been praised all over the world and was definitely welcomed by comparing it to its predecessor. The technology used in manufacturing such device is very innovative and complex and its components are also state-of-the-art with one of the most capable cameras ever found in a smartphone thanks to the optical stabilization system, the Exynos 7420 processor made by the company itself under a 14 nm process which is not that common nowadays and the display featuring a very high pixel density as well as getting dimmer than most under dark scenarios and brighter than some making it easy to read under direct sunlight. Samsung is expected to sell millions of these two flagship phones, and while this has been true in many countries, in South Korea this may not be the case, according to a recent report, although it has not been made official.

Two of the biggest disappointments of these phones is the lack of a removable battery and a Memory Card Slot, which had been mandatory features since the beginning of the Galaxy S series, but some sacrifices had to be made in order to achieve the new design. The base model starts with 32 GB of internal memory, and while it’s more than what is found in some phones from the competition, it may not be enough for some users that use their phones to play graphic intense games that could take a couple of gigabytes off that storage, not to mention other apps, music, videos or images that could take some more space. For those users, there are two more storage options 64 GB and 128 GB. From May 15th, the 128 GB option of the Galaxy S6 Edge has been available in South Korea, and it will be offered in 5 color choices: Black Sapphire, White Pearl, Gold Platinum, Green Emerald and Blue Topaz, the last color was not available at the official announcement. The price is 1,188,000 Korean Won (about $1100). Perhaps this new options will help increase the sales of this device.
