Xperia Z3 Series Gets Lollipop Update in Canada

Other users across the globe might well have gotten the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update on the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, but Canada is only just getting in on the action. Sony Mobile Canada tweeted the arrival of the new software earlier this week, and it should now be available on all major networks, expect for SaskTel it would seem.

The Galaxy Alpha was an interesting launch for Samsung, and while other devices like the Galaxy Note 4 and of course the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have hit the market, Samsung hasn’t forgotten about it. This week, the update to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop started to roll out in South Korea, which means a release elsewhere cannot be too far behind. The software version seems to be G850SKSU2COD4 and SamMobile have the firmware available for download if you’re feeling adventurous, but remember this is the SM-G850 model we’re talking about.

US Cellular Gives Galaxy Note 3 Owners Lollipop Update

US Cellular is often a little bit behind the times when it comes to software updates, but at least the updates actually end up getting to devices, right? Either way, the Galaxy Note 3 is getting Android 5.0.2 Lollipop this week, and those interested can find more info here.

LTE Galaxy S5 Gets Lollipop Update in India

Samsung isn’t great at updating all the variants of a single device at the same time, which is a shame, but the updates are now finally coming in. The SM-G900I, the LTE variant for the Indian market is only just getting the update to Lollipop now, and it seems like it’s just Android 5.0 rather than the newer 5.0.2 update.

Meizu MX4 Pro Gets Lollipop with Flyme OS 4.5.1 Update

The Meizu MX4 Pro was launched with Android 4.4 KitKat last year, but now the Flyme OS 4.5.1 update that’s currently rolling out in China brings Android 5.0 to the device. The Lollipop-based Flyme 4.5.1 is 650MB in size, and should be hitting devices right now.

Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Starts to Get Lollipop Update

The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is starting to get Lollipop in certain regions. Right now parts of Europe are getting the update to Android 5.0.2. This is the SM-P905 version of the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and the software version appears to be P905XXUABOD7.

ASUS Update ZenFone 5 to Android 5.0 Lollipop

The ZenFone 5 was launched last year and it was a popular device for ASUS, and while the company takes a while to deliver software updates to their devices they always come through. The update for Lollipop is available to download from ASUS, but they advise that users be on software version V11.4.6.94 before updating to Lollipop which is V2.4.5.21. It’s available to download from their website here. We should note that it’s for the Taiwan SKU of the device only.

LG L90 Gets Lollipop on T-Mobile

The mid-range LG L90 is getting the sweet gift of Lollipop this week, with the update to Android 5.0.2. More information can be found directly from T-Mobile here.

Sprint Releases Lollipop Update for the LG G2

The LG G2 is finally getting Lollipop on Sprint, and the support page doesn’t seem to have much to list other than the usual maintenance notes. Unlike Verizon, Sprint doesn’t tell you how to enjoy the new Lollipop update. We guess it’s a good job there isn’t too much that’s changed aside from looks, right?
