The LG G4 is out in the open and the availability is being announced by each carrier locally in their respective regions, with some countries seemingly set to launch the device around the last few days of May and some starting their official launch of the new smartphone in June. LG officially states that the global rollout begins tomorrow, April 29th, and will start in their home country of Korea expanding out from there to other regions and eventually, the LG G4 will have launched in numerous countries around the globe on approximately 180 different carriers according to LG.

The phone comes in multiple different style and color options, including ceramic metallic gray, ceramic white, shiny gold, and six colors of the genuine leather which have been treated by skilled artisan leather craftsman with a process called vegetable tanning. The leather options will be available in black, brown, red, sky blue, beige, and yellow. Like most devices, even though there are multiple color options, not all carriers will be selling every single color of the phone. What’s more likely is that each carrier will have a few different colors, with some having exclusivity on at least one color for a certain period of time. Sprint, for example, has stated they will only be selling the genuine black leather and the ceramic metallic gray options.

As LG has stated pricing will be listed locally by each region’s carriers, there is no mention of the Korea specific prices as of now, so any consumers in the region that are interested in picking one up will want to watch for their carrier to list the actual prices. The LG G4 comes equipped with a 5.5-inch Quad HD Quantum IPS display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and a 3,000mAh battery, and it will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with LG’s UX 4.0 on top. It features a 16MP rear-facing camera with laser auto-focus, an f1.8 aperture for better low-light visibility when taking pictures, and an 8MP front-facing camera with a gesture interval shot mode for taking effortless selfies. There are also a slew of handy new features like Gallery Timeline, Memories, and others that users will surely appreciate.
