Back at the start of the month, HTC took the wraps off of their latest flagship device, the HTC One M9. While some might have expected a slightly bigger change than what was actually offered, the One M9 does come with an increased spec list and more refined look and feel. Well, one of the the other aspects of upgrading that comes with a new flagship device, is the release of a number of new accessories and add-ons. Here is a quick look at the official accessory options which can be picked up, if you decide to go for the HTC One M9 on April 10th.
First up, there is of course, the HTC One M9 DotView Case. This was a popular option with the One M8 and as such is not a surprise that it has made a return again. Not to mention, there is also now a new Ice version in the form of the DotView Ice Case. This is pretty much the same as the original although it comes with a transparent back panel. If you are looking for just a back covering for your soon-to-be-purchased One M9, then you might want to go for the HTC DecoStand case. This one will slot onto the back and covers the sides of the device as well. Not to mention, that as well as the pretty deco patterns, the rear can double as a kickstand. If you need a far more protective case than what has been noted so far, then you might want to check out the HTC Active Case. This is an IP68 protected case and as such offers dust and water protection, as well as being shock resistant.
In terms of headphones, there are two official launch options you might want to consider. The first is the HTC Pro Studio Earphones which come with dual drivers along with ceramic tweeters. This one also includes the ability to interchange the tips and looks to offer a more studio-like experience, with spacious sound, increased bass and more defined vocals. The other option is a more durable option, which comes in the form of the HTC Active Headset. Like the Active case, this one is designed with the more adventurous in mind. Which means they are IP57 protected from dust and water. They also offer a magnetic locking system which allows the owner to easily snap the earphones together for easier portability. You can check out how the accessories look in the images below.
