Carphone Warehouse is now selling three more devices in the UK: HTC Desire 620, 820 and the 320. These are all pretty decent devices with varying tiers, so if you’re looking towards getting a handset from the Desire line, now is the time to pick one up.
The HTC Desire 820 is a higher tier device than the other two Desire devices, featuring a 5.5-inch screen and an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor which has four of its cores clocked at 1.5GHz, and the other ones running at 1.0GHz. This makes for some very efficient memory usage by prioritizing it, and the device also has 2GB of RAM included, plus 16GB of internal storage. All this is powered by a 2,600mAh battery and it also packs a 13MP primary shooter, which has a very high image resolution. This handset has a rather bigger price than the other two devices, but it’s definitely worth it. You can pick it up for £22.50 a month.
Now let’s take a look at the cheaper HTC Desire 320 which is a medium tier device that you can pick up for merely £10 per month based on a two-year contract. This device sports a 1.3GHz MediaTek processor with four cores, 8GB of native storage and 1GB of RAM. It’s definitely a decent device, but some consider it rather small (4.5-inch display with 480 x 854 pixels), as compared to the Desire 620 which features a 5-inch 720 x 1280 display. This one also packs 1GB of RAM, 8GB of native storage and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with four cores. Other tech specs include a 2,100mAh battery and an 8MP rear camera. The 620 is a better handset which isn’t much more expensive than the aforementioned device. It’s currently priced at £14.50 per month based on a two-year contract.
Every device is only available in one color (grey), with the exception of the Desire 320, which you can find under the white option as well. Free delivery is included, so there’s no reason not to buy it. Alternatively, you could save up your money for future HTC releases like the One (M9) aka HTC Hima, which is an incredible modern device that’s guaranteed to satisfy all your needs. It’s up to you which device you’ll pick if you decide to jump in on the Desire line, but make sure to tell us and leave a +1 on our G+ page.
