Bracketron Announce The Release Of A Number Of New Magnetic Earth Element Smartphone Mounts

January 7, 2015 - Written By John Anon

Over the last few days, we have seen announcements from Bracketron of some of the new bits they have coming. These were mainly in the form of power chargers, with the launch of the EZCharge and also the Snap2.0. If you missed them then the EZCharge offers a charger which you can plug in a USB lead either way while the Snap2.0 offers a charger with built-in Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 Technology. Well, today Bracketron have also announced the release of their mounting solutions for smartphones. The new mounts join the ‘Earth Elements’ series of specialized mounting plates and offer a wide array of plates to mount your smartphone to just about any aspect of your vehicle magnetically. They are also incredibly easy to use with the mounting plates simply attached to the back of our device (between your phone and case) and then can easy be snapped into place with their corresponding vehicle mounts.

First up is the T1 Smartphone Power Dock. This one plugs directly into the vehicle’s 12V power socket. To add to its mounting purpose (and as it plugs directly into your power ports) you can power your devices directly from the mount. The Ti Power Dock comes with a gooseneck design allowing for the added benefit of positioning your device at multiple angles. Alternatively you could opt for the H2O Smartphone Cup Holder Mount, which as the name suggests allows you to mount your smartphone directly to the cup holder placement. This is an ideal solution for larger phones, GPS units or tablets. The mount is also adjustable to allow perfect fitting for any cup holder up to 3.75″. If you are more of a windscreen mounted person then you might want to check out the Zn Smartphone Windshield Mount, which literally allows you to mount your smartphones directly to the windscreen and includes the easy snap-on fitting, while also providing a secure mount to the windscreen. Similar to the Ti Power Dock, this one also comes with a gooseneck design to allow for easy flexibility and repositioning of your device.

Last up is the interesting Os Smart Pack. This one is a weighted mount for dashboards. However, what makes it very interesting is that it also doubles as a carry case for your device. If you are interested in any of the cases then the T1 Smartphone Power Dock, the H2O Smartphone Cup Holder Mount and the Zn Smartphone Windscreen Mount will all be available soon and all priced at $34.95 individually. The Os Smart Pack will set you back a little more and will cost $44.95 when it is available.
