Motorola’s Moto X 2nd Gen. was a great improvement over last year’s model which was already a great device, and while many jumped at the chance to pick it up as soon as it was available, those that were able to endure a little bit of patience in waiting for the larger storage size model are now being rewarded with the capability to pick up the 64GB Pure Edition of the Moto X 2nd Gen. Via their Twitter account this morning, Motorola has announced that the Moto X 2nd Gen. 64GB Pure Edition is now available from the Moto Store starting at just $100 more than the 16GB model, and just $50 more than the 32GB model.
If you haven’t grabbed a new phone yet and need all the extra storage you can get, and you have some extra cash stashed away that you were saving for a phone upgrade, the 64GB Pure Edition will set you back $399. With no option for expandable storage the more internal space you have the better, and the Pure Edition is an unlocked GSM model so it’ll work on any GSM network like T-Mobile, AT&T, US Cellular and other smaller regional GSM carriers.
The Moto maker allows for all the same kind of customization for the 64GB model as the other models so you don’t have to worry about losing out there. Motorola is also very prompt with software updates on their Moto X devices, and the Pure Edition gets things just a little quicker so if you like being on the bleeding edge so to speak and being one of the first to get your hands on new software shortly after Google releases it, this is a phone to consider. The price as we stated above starts at $399, but of course that cost can jump up a bit depending on the customization options you add, like whether or not you choose to go with a standard colored back or opt for the slightly more expensive leather or wood options. It may be a little later than some were hoping but you can jump to Motorola’s Moto Maker webpage to grab the 64GB Pure Edition of the Moto X 2nd Gen. now if you’re so inclined.
