Huawei Glory 6 Plus has been all over the news in the past week or so. This handset has leaked back and forth and rumors have been flying all over the place. The latest leak we have as far as this handset is considered, has to do with its camera. If you don’t remember, this handset was certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent of the FCC) last month and has revealed its dual 8-megapixel camera on the back of the phone. We’ve been wondering what will Huawei do with such a camera, how will they take advantage of it, will the go the HTC One M8 depth-perception path or will they put their own spin on it. Well, some information leaked out, luckily, so, let’s check it out.

The leaked document confirmed that the camera will fiddle with 3D imagery. Now, the document doesn’t exactly explain how will that work exactly, but from the context of it, those cameras will also try to capture depth perception and base its results on it. How well will it work? Well, that depends on how well Huawei optimized the software for that shooter, either way, it will be interesting to see. It has also been confirmed that the camera will provide a blur effect feature, though according to the document, the blur effect might even be used real time while shooting a video, that part isn’t all that clear. They do mention some cool recording capabilities of this handset and its shooters, so it will be interesting to see what will Huawei do in order to ensure a good experience with those snappers. In the meantime, we’ll probably see some additional information before this handset arrives, considering the device will launch on December 16th, there’s still plenty of time until that happens.
Glory 6 Plus will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. This handset will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor (most probably Kirin 925) and will ship with two 8-megapixel cameras on the back of the device, as I’ve already mentioned.. Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat will ship with this device with Huawei’s Emotion UI on top of it. The device will quite probably support 4G LTE connectivity and will measure 150.46 — 75.68 — 7.5mm while it will weight 165 grams.
