Mobilicity Black Friday Sale

Mobilicity Offers Big Discounts for Black Friday and Saturday

November 27, 2014 - Written By Cory McNutt

Mobilicity is set lose its protection from its creditors on December 1, unless the courts extend that agreement – so Mobilicity is either making one last ditch for more subscribers or maybe they have something more in store.  Whatever the reason, our source’s tipster found out that Mobilicity is taking this Black Friday and holiday weekend to unveil some terrific price cuts in their monthly plans.

The first big deal is a cut in their basic plan of $25 per month by a full $10 – bringing it down to an amazing $15 per month – and this includes unlimited talk and text.  Mobilicity points out that “Offers can be modified with add-ons”…one of which is $10 a month for unlimited data.  For only $25 a month, a subscriber can have Unlimited talk, text and data!  This promo price is only going to be offered on Black Friday and “is valid for as long as customer’s account is in good standing.”

That offer is just the beginning of the discounts that Mobilicity will be offering.  On the day following Black Friday, the Saturday shoppers will also be treated to some more special offers.  They will launch a $29 Holiday Promo, also for a limited time as they take $16 off their $45 a month plan – it offers Unlimited Talk, Text and Premium Data, along with North American Long Distance, Voicemail, Global Text and even 30 minutes of Roaming…all for $29 a month.  This too, will only be offered for a limited time and only available for those that sign up on a pre-authorized credit or pre-authorized debit account.  If you are not willing to go the pre-authorized route and want to stick to a cash account, then you will still get a $5 discount off the $45 a month plan.

Mobilicity is really making a an effort in a big way to attract more customers and add to their 156,000 current subscriber base, as one of their largest creditors just offered to back them for the upcoming spectrum sale in April 2015.  Catalyst Capital Group made it quite clear that buying that spectrum would make Mobilicity more attractive to be sold or consolidated with another small carrier to become the next big carrier in Canada.  It is possible that adding additional subscribers through these sales would add even more to their value in a deal. Please hit us up on our Google+ Page and let us know if you might be interested in one of these great ‘fire sales’…as always, we would love to hear from you.
