Motorola UK Extends Yesterday’s Sale Of The Moto X 2nd Gen. To October 30th

The new Motorola Moto X hasn’t been out long and already Motorola has discounted the device in the UK. The new Moto X brings in some great hardware and software updates, as well as a planned rollout of the upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop once it begins to get pushed out by Google. Yesterday’s deal had the new Moto X up for sale at a cost of £359 which is just $578 USD. If you had been waiting to pick yourself up one of these devices this would be a great time to do so, as Motorola has extended the sale from yesterday out to today, and ending October 30th, so presumably by midnight it will go back up to normal cost.

It’s not a whole lot of extra time but any additional time on sales is always a good thing, especially on great new devices. It also won’t be the last discount we see on this device as it was just released last month, but who knows how long it will be before another one pops up, so if saving sixty bucks sounds like a good deal to you, it might be worth heading over to the Motorola website and taking a look. Remember, this is a UK based sale. For the U.S. residents, Motorola has two other devices that are worth looking into.

The new Google Nexus 6 just went up for pre-order this morning although it already appears to be sold out according to many in the social feeds who have tried to place orders. Verizon and Motorola also announced the new DROID Turbo, which is slated to go on sale tomorrow for just $199 on contract. The UK Moto X 2nd Gen. sale pairs perfectly with the launch of the Moto 360 officially through Motorola’s website which was just yesterday as well, so now is definitely a great time to be looking at upgrades. Unfortunately the U.S. site doesn’t seem to be carrying any sales on the new Moto X right now, but here’s hoping for those that are interested in that device, that a sale will pop up soon. Do you already own a new Moto X? Are you holding out for the Google Nexus 6? Share your thoughts as we’d love to hear from you.
