Meizu MX4 vs Meizu MX4 Pro back covers (leak)_1

Meizu’s MX4 Pro Will Be Bigger Than Original MX4 If Leaked Back Cover is Accurate

As Meizu MX4 Pro launch is getting closer we’re getting more and more leaks regarding the device itself. We’ve already received a ton of rumors, leaks and even official confirmations from Meizu, more on that later. This time around we have a leaked back which allegedly belongs to Meizu MX4 Pro and alongside it is the back cover of the original Meizu MX4. You can see those cover above and below this article side-by-side and as you’ll notice, Meizu MX4 Pro’s cover is bigger than the MX4’s. Not only is it higher but it’s wider as well, that is to be expected though, considering the reported size of Meizu MX4 Pro’s screen is 5.5-inches compared to the 5.4-inches of the original MX4’s screen. That fingerprint sensor / button below the screen that will be a part of MX4 Pro quite probably ads some height as well. The difference is not huge though, but it’s very much noticeable.

I’ve already mentioned we’ve received tons of information when it comes to this device. Meizu has confirmed that the handset will launch in November, though the company didn’t say when. Meizu is holding an event on November 4th which they teased recently, though I somehow doubt we’ll see Meizu MX4 Pro launched there considering the teaser doesn’t actually suggest that. Meizu’s VP also said that MX4 Pro will sport a fingerprint sensor, indirectly, but he said it… and we’ve also seen this handset’s specifications leak on GFXBench benchmarks and OppoMart (retailer) even listed the device on its official webpage.

According to the listings, Meizu MX4 Pro will sport a 5.5-inch QHD display (quite probably made by Sharp), 3GB of RAM and 16, 32 and 64GB of internal storage. On the back of the device, you’ll be able to find the same 20.7-megapixel camera that is included in the original Meizu MX4 and a 2-megapixel shooter will be located at the front of the device. Meizu MX4 Pro will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with Flyme 4.0 OS on top of it. Black and White color options have been mentioned as well and this is, of course, a 4G LTE device. 3100mAh battery will ship with this handset while the device itself will reportedly measure 144 x 75.2 x 8.9mm and weight 147 grams.
