HP’s unannounced 10 Plus has just shown up on Amazon and their own website for sale. It’s a 10-inch tablet with a $280 price tag. It’s featuring a 10-inch 1920×1200 resolution IPS display, which is a pretty good display from HP. It’s also got 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It also features a Allwinner A31 ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core processor, which really isn’t all that powerful And that’s why we’re looking at a $280 price tag for this tablet. There’s also a 5MP camera on the back, and a 2MP camera on the front. It’s got WiFi 802.11n. Which is surprising that it doesn’t support all the wireless networks, a/b/g/n/ac, etc.

Here we do have front-facing speakers, so that’s great to see. Additionally it appears to be running stock KitKat. Which is also nice to see, and we’ve seen that from HP with their other tablets out there. There is likely to be a couple of apps pre-installed on the HP 10 Plus, in addition to all the Google apps. One is the Beats Audio app, and another is the HP Print app. Usually that’s all they add into these tablets.

It’s not a terrible tablet, but the processor is definitely the down side of this tablet here. We’ve actually never heard of Allwinnner before, but it’s a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor. So it’s not that powerful at all. So if you are okay with that. Then the HP 10 Plus is a pretty nice tablet, and it’s available from Amazon right now, which you can pick up from the link down below. It’s nice to see HP putting out some more tablets, but it doesn’t seem like they are trying all that hard just yet. Hopefully we see some more high-end tablets from HP soon.
