Meizu MX4 Pro has been rumored back and forth for a long time now. We’ve been hearing about this device’s specs, design, price, release date… for months now. Meizu MX4 was released at the beginning of this month and MX4 Pro has been rumored long before that. The latest information said that the device will launch October 26th and will sport a 5.36-inch QHD (2560 x 1536) display, which is the same size as the one on Meizu MX4 but has a higher resolution. 3GB of RAM is also expected to be a part of this package and the device will allegedly have a magnesium alloy body, something similar to HTC One (M8). Samsung’s Exynos 5430 MX4 Pro has been rumored long before that. Samsung’s Exynos 5430 octa-core processor will allegedly power on this device and it will have a push fingerprint sensor on the front. 20.7-megapixel camera will reportedly be this device’s main shooter, just like the one on Meizu MX4. Please note that the device featured in an image above is not the MX4 Pro but the already released MX4 smartphone.

Pan Jiutang is an industry analyst and he shared some of his insights with the rest of us when it comes to Meizu MX4 Pro. He said that Meizu MX4 Pro will probably be in high demand one the Chinese company releases the device though not as much as the MX4. When comparing the demand for the two devices he said that the MX4 Pro will probably be about 30% less desirable than the Meizu MX4 in other words it should be easier to buy MX4 Pro once it launches. This makes all the sense in the world actually considering the Meizu MX4 is selling like crazy and the company is having issues producing so many phones in time.  Jiutang also mentioned that the price of Meizu MX4 will be sub-2500 Yuan, quite probably around 2300 mark and that the device will be on sale by the end of October or early November, which goes hand in hand with the latest rumors which state Meizu MX4 Pro will launch on October 26th. He also added that he is not surprised by the problems Meizu is facing when it comes to meeting the demand for MX4 considering there are lots of non-standard parts included in the build of that phone.

I don’t doubt we’ll see more rumors / reports before this device launches, so stay tuned for that. What do you think of the rumors so far, would you be interested in a device like that?
