Huawei seems to be rather active lately, they’ve unveiled their Ascend Mate 7 offering at IFA in Berlin earlier this month as well as Ascend P7 sapphire edition, now this China-based company has yet another device to show us. Huawei Honor Play 4 has been leaked several times in the last few months and it seems that the leaks have been spot on. The device features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. This thing is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core processor. You can find an 8-megapixel camera on the back of the device while there’s a 2-megapixel shooter up front. The device comes with a textured back cover which has a rather leathery feel to it according to the source and it is removable. 2000mAh battery is also part of the package and this is a 4G LTE and a dual SIM capable device. NFC is also built-in this smartphone. Huawei Honor Play 4 is priced at 799 Yuan in China, which comes to about $130, just to give you an idea how un-expensive this device actually is. You can find a bunch of images of this device in a gallery below the article.

This is obviously a mid-range offering by Huawei and it is arguably a rather affordable device. China sure does not lack phones like these, Chinese manufacturers give their consumers lots to choose from. This device will face tough competition from brands like Meizu, Xiaomi, Elephone, etc. It will be interesting to see if this device will come to other markets, Huawei has a presence in Europe, for example, so this device might reach some European countries. Huawei didn’t reveal any information about an international launch, but it could happen I guess, though device might be released under a different name or something like that. Have you ever had any contact with Huawei as a brand, in other words, did you ever own or handled one of their devices? What are your thoughts on Huawei Honor Play 4, would you be interested in a device like that?
