ALCATEL ONETOUCH has just released three new smartphones that will be going to Straight Talk for TracFone and are being sold exclusively through your local Wal-Mart stores.  The prices are not yet set in stone, however, we were told that the POP Mega LTE will retail for under $250, the POP Star LTE should be under $150, as will the POP Icon and they should be arriving sometime next month. The new POP Mega LTE (shown above) provides you with a 6-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.  It is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and has 1GB of RAM.  It only has 4GB of onboard internal memory with the end user getting about 1.8GB for actual storage, although there is room for a 32GB microSD card to add additional user storage.  The main camera is a full 8MP and has auto focus and an LED flash…and you even get a full 2MP front-facing camera (FFC) for video chatting and selfies.  This is all powered by a large 3400mAh battery, which they claim will give you up to 14 hours of talk-time. The POP Mega LTE has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a MicroUSB port, GPS with A-GPS, Micro SIM card and features a FM radio, Airplane Mode and Vibrate Mode.  It measures 6.39 x 3.32 x .34-inches and weighs in at 6.42 ounces and is running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The ALCATEL ONETOUCH POP Star LTE still gives you 4G LTE at an affordable price.  The display drops to a 4-inch WVGA with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.  The POP Star LTE still uses a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and you still get a full 1MB of RAM.  They provide 4GB of internal memory, however you can still add 32GB of storage with a microSD card.  The main camera is 5MP with an LED Flash and a VGA camera for video chats and selfies.  The battery is only 2000mAh, but ALCATEL claims up to twelve hours of talk time. It comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a MicroUSB port, GPA, an FM Radio, Airplane and Vibrate Mode.  It measures 4.84 x 2.5 x .38-inches and weighs 4.6 ounces and is running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The ALCATEL ONETOUCH POP Icon does not have 4G LTE capabilities, but it offers those that want a larger display at an affordable price.  It comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.  Enjoy fast 3G speeds with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and 1GB of RAM.  It offers the same 4GB of internal storage with a 32GB spot for a microSD card.  You still get a 5MP main camera sans the flash and a VGA FFC.  The standards are all here – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a microUSB connector, Music Player, Stereo FM Radio, E-compass and HD Voice listed.  The POP Icon is powered by a 2000mAh battery and the device measures 5.55 x 2.84 x 0.39-inches and weighs 5.2 ounces.
