LG G3 Launches in Gold at Vodafone UK

August 15, 2014 - Written By Alexander Maxham

Today, those in the UK can now pick up a LG G3 in Gold from Vodafone. As most of you probably know the LG G3 is available in three colors, that’s black, white and gold. Here in the US the gold version is an exclusive to Sprint (exclusive colors are still dumb in my opinion). But now it’s available in the UK at Vodafone. However, don’t be jealous of our UK friends as they only get the 16GB/2GB model and not the one with 32GB of storage and 3GB of RAM, unfortunately. All the rest of the specs are the same. 5.5-inch 2560×1440 resolution Quad HD IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 13MP camera with Laser Auto-Focus, etc. There’s also still a 3000mAh removable battery here.

To celebrate the launch of the gold LG G3, Vodafone UK is giving one away. Their contest is quite easy to enter actually. You’ll need to head to the source link we’ve got at the bottom of this post. Then you’ll need to watch the video and enter the time that is shown in the Quick Circle. Obviously you’ll need to enter your personal details as well so that if you do win they can contact you and get your Gold LG G3 out to you. They will be announcing the winner on August 21st, so make sure you enter before then.

Vodafone is offering the G3 for as little as £34.50 per month and $0 down. Which includes 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data for two years. If you want to pay £48.50/month you’ll get bumped up to 4GB of data. Yeah the way plans and subsidies are laid out over in the UK is much different from the US.
