Android How to: Take a Screenshot on the OnePlus One

July 7, 2014 - Written By Alexander Maxham

The OnePlus One is like the dream smartphone. Flagship specs, stock Android and a $350 price tag for 64GB of storage. I’d even recommend it over the Nexus 5, if everyone could get their hands on it. Unfortunately, not everyone can get their hands on the OnePlus One, just yet. But for those that do have it, like myself, we’ve got plenty of tutorials for the OnePlus One. And today’s tutorial is how to take a screenshot on the OnePlus One. It’s actually the same as any other smartphone, in taking a screenshot, but here’s how it’s done. Simply Hold the Power and Volume Down buttons together. And a few seconds later you’ll have your screenshot. It’s pretty simple, actually. Unfortunately there isn’t another way to take screenshots like there is in the Galaxy S5 and LG G3, but at least this way it’s still easy to do since the power button and volume rockers are on the sides.

We have a video down below for those that need to be walked through a bit more, of how to take a screenshot. Once you take the screenshot you can go ahead and share it to Google+, Hangouts, Twitter, Tumblr, Whatsapp, or anywhere else. You can also jump into the Google+ Photos app and edit it if you want too. Since the Cyanogen Gallery – at the time of writing this – does not have that ability, unfortunately. Pretty nifty and pretty easy.

We’ve got plenty more tutorials coming your way for the OnePlus One, and we might have a giveaway coming pretty soon as well. So you’ll definitely want to stay tuned to Android Headlines for everything OnePlus One. How many of you have already picked one up? Let us know in the comments below.
