Sponsored Review: William Hill Bingo

June 16, 2014 - Written By Tom Dawson

Description: We’ve covered a lot of Bingo games for Android over the years, but none from William Hill, one of the most reputable names in gambling in the UK. In recent years, William Hill has stepped up their mobile offerings and their Mobile Bingo site has gotten better and better. Offering a wide range of Bingo games with ticket prices from as little as £0.02, William Hill’s Bingo site allows Bingo fans to play the game they love or whenever and wherever they like. Is it any good, though? Let’s take a look.

How it Works: Unlike other apps and games we review here, you’ll need to head to the William Hill Bingo site and then either sign in with your existing account or set up a new one.

When people in your lobby win, their names are shown off to people, your name could be here if you win a line or even a full-house.

It’s not just the bingo side of things that keep you entertained with William Hill Bingo though, as there’s a chat room to keep in contact with your fellow players.

Opinion: I’m not huge fan of Bingo, but I have played it a number of times and I can certainly see why people would enjoy playing Bingo from William Hill. There’s a good variety of games on offer, with different themes to them and if you’ve bought a whole lot of tickets, it’s nice that the game picks up on numbers called out and fills them in for you, the sound effects are a nice touch as well. It’s a shame that the minimum deposit is £10, especially as the Bingo tickets are on average around £0.10, but this does give you a good amount of money to play around with.

Ratings

  • Speed (4/5) – The Bingo site from William Hill works well on phones and tablets and it’s nice and quick, too.
  • Features (4/5) – A good offering of Bingo games from a reputable name, William Hill Bingo has all the right boxes ticked for Bingo fans.
  • Theme (3/5) – The mobile site has some good-looking animations, but on the whole it does feel a little basic.
  • Overall (4/5) – William Hill’s Mobile Bingo site has a lot of different bingo games on offer and the opportunity to win real money from a reputable name in gambling will appeal to a lot of players.

Pros

  • Easy to get to grips with and get started.
  • Chat room included to get a feel for the atmosphere.
  • No need to tick off numbers yourself, has as many tickets as you like and rack up the wins.
  • Sound effects are even offered to go with the variety of different Bingo titles.

Cons

  • £10 minimum deposit is a little excessive for £0.10 tickets for Bingo.
  • Graphics can be a little basic, but there is a dedicated app available if you’d rather use that.

Conclusion: It might not be the best-looking bingo game out there, but William Hill’s Mobile offering looks decent and thanks to their reputation, you know you’re putting your money in the right hands. Great for those looking for something a little more exciting to do, there’s a chat room for people to connect as they wait for the next game or wait for their winnings to come. Overall though, the mobile Bingo site has a lot to offer for fans of Bingo.
